Description This Extra Rich Hair Conditioner Unscented Base is made from naturally derived ingredients, and several organic ingredients. It’s the exact same formulation as our Daily Use Hair Conditioner but has a bit more “kick” of hair softening ingredients. Can be used every day by those with dry to extra dry hair. This Extra Rich Hair Conditioner Unscented Base can be used as-is for an unscented hair care product, or you can pick up a few essential or fragrance oils and scent this product just the way you like it. Package it up in your own containers, and you have a wonderful finished item …. who knows, you might just want to sell it on the side for a bit of extra income! Many people ask us if this will work as a ‘leave-in’ conditioner. Yes, it will for most hair types. Those with thin, fine hair probably should use this as a normal wash-out product, but for all other hair types, it can be left in. Those who have tested it as both a leave-in and a wash-out conditioner, rave for its ability to soften the hair without weighing it down. As a leave-in: just remember a little will go a long way! Even better yet, we’ve tried this as an all-over body lotion – and it’s simply fabulous for that as well – so technically this item could be marketed as a hair conditioner, a body lotion, or a dual-purpose product. Its common name of ‘BTMS’ is a wax that is derived from the Colza plant. Our BTMS holds a green rating on the Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database, and despite the name it isn’t a sulfate ingredient at all. It’s super mild and imparts body and texture to your hair.
